The Road Glide®

Updates for 2022
With the CVO™ models, the available designs usually change from year to year, and that is certainly the case with the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide®. We’ll cover those options in detail in the next section. Another notable change is its electronically linked braking system, which is an update that Harley-Davidson® has made for all of the touring motorcycles throughout its lineup. H-D® has also reconfigured what had previously been called RDRS. Most of those features are included standard, but there are some rider safety enhancements that are available as a factory option.
Available in Three Unique Packages
Riders in and near Laurel Bel Air Elkton Frederick Owings Mills can opt for the 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Road Glide® in three distinct flavors: Blue Steel, Envious Green Fade and Wicked Orange Pearl. Blue Steel pairs a dark blue color scheme with a dark chrome aesthetic. Envious Green Fade pairs a dark green and black flames with a blacked-out aesthetic, and Wicked Orange Pearl, which is a premium option, boasts a traditional chrome aesthetic and pairs it with a black-and-orange color scheme. Note that these models differ in terms of equipment as well. The saddlebags, for instance, are stretched for the Wicked Orange Pearl model whereas the Blue Steel model has the shorter bags.

Performance
Another feature that distinguishes the CVO™ Road Glide® from the standard Road Glide® is the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-Twin engine. This is the most powerful engine that Harley-Davidson® currently offers with its touring motorcycles: 126 pound-feet of torque. That means more power and acceleration out of the gate but also more headroom if you opt to invest in a stage kit down the line.
Infotainment
Every CVO™ Road Glide® has the state-of-the-art Boom!™ Box GTS infotainment system. Features include a 6.5-inch touch screen made with Gorilla Glass, dual analog joysticks, Android and Apple smartphone integration, voice control via smartphone passthrough and a premium Fosgate audio system.

Most rider safety enhancements are included standard. Some are available as an option. If you’re considering them, note that the decision has to be made at the time of purchase since they’re only available as a factory option and cannot be added later on.
