Tri Glide® Ultra

There are two core three-wheeled motorcycles in the Harley-Davidson® lineup: Freewheeler and Tri Glide® Ultra. The Freewheeler is set up more like a cruiser, and while the Tri Glide® Ultra excels in that domain as well, it is set up more like a tourer. Due to how H-D® uses the Ultra designation differently throughout the lineup, newer enthusiasts often think that there is a standard Tri Glide® available as well, but that is not the case. The Tri Glide® Ultra is the standard model, and it’s available in one special edition.

CVO™ Tri Glide®

The 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Tri Glide® is a factory custom edition of the standard Tri Glide® Ultra, and it has the same fundamental appeal of being a three-wheeled motorcycle set up for touring. From a mechanical standpoint, the biggest difference is that the CVO™ model has the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-Twin engine, which is the most powerful engine that H-D® offers on any of its touring machines. The CVO™ model is also offered in an elaborate design scheme that isn’t available on the standard model, and it features numerous upgrades, including heated grips, a rider backrest and an enhance passenger seat.

Updates for the 2022 Model Year

Designs for the CVO™ models tend to be unique for each model year, and Harley-Davidson® has introduced a new look for 2022, which is called Dante’s Red Fade. The 2022 model also has electronic linked brakes with ABS, which is an upgrade made to touring motorcycles throughout the lineup. The rider-assistance suite formerly called RDRS has been reconfigured as well. Some of those technologies are now included standard, and you can still add the rest to your CVO™ Tri Glide® as a factory option.

This Is the Right Bike For

The 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Tri Glide® is an excellent option for riders who want a three-wheeled motorcycle, which delivers greater balance, stability and handling than a traditional two-wheel motorcycle. The reason riders choose the Tri Glide® Ultra over the Freewheeler is that they want a touring motorcycle, and the reasons they choose the CVO™ model over the standard model is that they want the custom aesthetic and all of the equipment upgrades that come with it.

Dante’s Red Fade

Harley-Davidson® has opted to offer a single design option for the CVO™ Tri Glide® for 2022, which is called Dante’s Red Fade. The bike features a traditional chrome aesthetic paired with a dark red paint scheme that is adorned with black flames that consume the trike as they reach the trunk.

The 2022 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Tri Glide® is loaded and tricked out, but that does not mean that there isn’t room for personalization. Harley-Davidson® offers a wide range of parts, accessories and upgrades. These include various collections, such as Screamin’ Eagle, Empire and the ’66 series.
