Meet the Tri Glide® Ultra
The best-selling three-wheeled motorcycle in the Harley-Davidson® lineup is the Freewheeler, which is one of the more affordable trikes on the market and boasts a stripped-down, hot rod aesthetic. The Tri Glide® Ultra, on the other hand, delivers more of a luxury three-wheeled experienced, and it arrives from the factory with all of the upgrades you need for long-distance rides. It features the Milwaukee-Eight® 114 V-Twin engine, which makes 121 pound-feet of torque at 3,250 rpm, in addition to Tomahawk wheels, a 2-1-2 dual exhaust, a hand-adjustable emulsion rear suspension and optional rider safety tech.
Updates for the 2022 Model Year
The 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide® Ultra arrives with a light exterior refresh and new color options. The new model also features Reflex electronic linked Brembo brakes with anti-lock braking, which is an update that Harley-Davidson® has made for all of its touring motorcycles. H-D® has also made changes to what was called RDRS last model year. Some of those features, such as the cornering enhanced systems are now standard, and those that aren’t are available as a group as a factory option.
This Is the Right Bike For
The 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide® Ultra is an excellent option for any enthusiasts who want a three-wheeled motorcycle experience, which provides greater handling, balance and stability than a traditional motorcycle ride. Compared to the Freewheeler, the Tri Glide® Ultra is a better option for riders who’ll use their trike as a tourer and for those who prefer a more a luxury loadout. The Tri Glide® Ultra has a fork-mounted fairing and puts the rider in an upright position. It has a passenger seat with a backrest, and floorboards that are accessible by both the rider and passenger. All models feature the Boom!™ Box GTS infotainment system with a 6.5-inch touch screen. The Tri Glide® Ultra features a trunk along with a touring pack for additional storage, and this is as much storage as is available on any Harley-Davidson® vehicle.
Color Options
There are three core design options, and all of them feature a traditional chrome aesthetic. The standard option is Vivid Black, which delivers the iconic Harley-Davidson® look. There are also two two-tone color schemes available as premium options. Those options are Gauntlet Gray Metallic and Midnight Crimson, and those are both paired with Vivid Black.
Other Customization Options
While the 2022 Harley-Davidson® Tri Glide® Ultra is a well-equipped motorcycle, there is ample room for customization, and the brand supports that personalization with a large and diverse catalog of parts and accessories.
